The only disarming that matters is any and all Nuclear weapons. That's it. If North Korea does that, then they'll get a peace treaty, economic support...and likely a commitment not to pursue regime change as a policy.
"Putin, speaking at an economic forum in the Russian port city of Vladivostok, said Pyongyang had taken positive steps and was now waiting for a response." Well, VLAD, since you seem to be in the know of what is going on in North Korea, perhaps you'll let us in on it because as far as we can see from the eye in the sky they are doing the exact opposite! In fact, VLAD, why don't you just keep your nose out of it!
Let me see if I have this right. North Korea is controlled by China. The Russians and the Chinese are both having joint war games. Now Putin is trying to tell us that North Korea is playing nice. OK, yeah. I guess somebody will buy it.
North Korea is not going to dismantle their nuclear program. It's not only an ego booster to make other fear him, it makes for excellent internal propaganda to help keep the populace in check.
Because Putin is such a wonderful and accurate beacon of truth. Thanks Trump fans.
"Trust, but verify."
Please Putin stick it where it belongs you better worry about China's plans for your country
Hw many nuclear weapons have they destroyed? We are wise to the 3 steps forward 3 steps back, we want at least 4 steps back before any dosh goes their way.
Putin is right, we need to be reciprocal by removing some sanctions with each positive move by North Korea, such as allowing in heating oil, food and medicine and areas of trade that cannot be used to promote the development of nuclear weapons.
The NK impasse is due to lack of interest by Trump who just wants to play golf.
