Purported iPad mini pricing details show tablet may start selling in the $300 range

iPad mini could sell in the $300 range according major European retailer

Apple (AAPL) is widely expected to announce a smaller and more affordable iPad on October 23rd. The long-rumored device, which has been dubbed the iPad mini by the media, has already appeared in a number of leaks and renders, although pricing information has so far been kept under wraps. But according to a screenshot obtained by MobileGeeks that purportedly came from the internal inventory system of European electronics retailer Media Market, pricing for the iPad mini will start at €249 (roughly $323 USD) for a Wi-Fi only model with 8GB of internal storage.

The screen shot also says that pricing will go as high as €649 (around $841 USD) for a 64GB version with cellular capabilities, in addition to the device being offered in a variety of storage sizes, including 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. It should be noted, however, that the retailer may have put the prices as placeholders until Apple makes the device official.
