Pulaski County deputies investigating after body found off the side of road

PULASKI COUNTY, Ark. – Deputies have started an investigation after a body was discovered off of the side of the road in Pulaski County Tuesday morning.

Officials with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the area of the 100 block of Compton Road, near Roundtop Road, just before 7:30 a.m.

Jacksonville police investigating homicide at apartment complex Tuesday morning

When they arrived, the deputies said they found the body of a man. The PCSO Criminal Investigation Division arrived at the scene to begin collecting evidence.

There has been no word from deputies regarding the identity of the body found at the scene. Authorities have also not stated if this matter is being investigated as a homicide case.
