Puerto Rico man killed in upstate NY crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) — A man is dead after police say he lost control of his motorcycle and swerved into the path of an oncoming car in Rochester, New York.

The Democrat and Chronicle reports (http://on.rocne.ws/1jeIJZE ) 27-year-old Ramon Gonzalez died at a hospital after the crash Saturday on State Route 104 in Rochester.

The newspaper says Gonzalez crossed the median before colliding with the car. Two people in the car sustained minor injuries. The road remained closed about four hours while police investigated.

The newspaper reports Gonzalez was from Puerto Rico and had been visiting with family in the Rochester suburb of Gates, New York.
