Pueblo Mayor showcasing local artists in office

(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Arts Alliance announced on Monday, April 15, that an open call is being extended to local artists for the opportunity to have their artwork showcased in the lobby of Mayor Heather Graham’s Office.

“I am excited to announce a new partnership in the Mayor’s Office with the Arts Alliance with the intention to showcase local artwork in our lobby area,” said Mayor of Pueblo Heather Graham. “We have so many talented creatives in the Pueblo community and we welcome many businesses, organizations, and individuals in the Mayor’s Office throughout the day, so this is the perfect opportunity to showcase local artwork.”

Mayor Graham’s office said she is dedicated to promoting the arts and has created a platform for local artists to thrive and contribute to Pueblo’s vibrant cultural landscape.

“The Pueblo Arts Alliance is profoundly honored for the opportunity to collaborate with Mayor Graham in showcasing the diverse talents of our community,” said Executive Director of the Pueblo Arts Alliance Christina McCann. “This collaboration underscores our shared commitment to promoting artistic excellence, cultural diversity, and community enrichment.”

For those wishing to submit artwork, the guidelines are:

  • Dimensions should fit within a designated space of 4′ 6″ wide and 2′ 4″ high’

  • Submitted work must be available for sale

  • Artwork should be appropriate for all ages (no nudity, violence or explicit content)
