Public seedling sale set for Saturday at Weyerhaeuser's Rochester Nursery
Mar. 20—Weyerhaeuser will host a public seedling sale at its Rochester Nursery on Saturday, March 23.
The event runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the nursery, which is located at 7935 U.S. Highway 12 in Rochester.
"A variety of Christmas and regeneration seedlings will be available, including Douglas fir, noble fir, western hemlock, western red cedar and more," Weyerhaeuser stated in a news release. "This is an excellent opportunity for local farmers, nurseries and regeneration projects to stock up on high-quality seedlings at smaller quantities not typically available to the public."
Seedlings will be sold individually or in bags. Payment will be by check only at the time of pickup. No other form of payment will be accepted.
