Public Records: Fairfield County restaurant inspections

The following are restaurant inspections with critical violations, as conducted by the Fairfield County Health Department from March 25 to April 5.

March 25

Bubble Buss LLC, 207 N. W. Main St., Lancaster. Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health.

March 26

22 Sunoco, 521 Lincoln Ave., Lancaster. Observed no health policy. Observed sandwiches in cooler with no date marking.

March 27

Luxe Rehab and Care Center - Eckert Wing, 957 Becks Knob Road SW, Lancaster. Observed mouse droppings in the pantry. The three-compartment sink did not have a proper air gap. The plumbing was placed too close together with the pipes almost touching.

April 1

Dollar General Store #24381, 580 S. Broad St., Lancaster. Employees are not informed in a verifiable manner of their responsibility to report information about their health.

The Duchess Shoppe N. Memorial #1178, 603 N. Memorial Drive, Lancaster. Observed no air gap between the mop sink hose and flood rim.

April 3

Peddler's Junction Lancaster LLC, 1375 Old Logan Road, Lancaster. Observed baby food with a best-by date of March 31, 2024.

April 4

Alfonsos Italian Grill, 3100 Country Club Road, Lancaster. Observed a trash can stored in front of the handwashing sink. Observed cut leafy greens, and open cans of crab meat not date marked.

Sonic SRI #5731, 1334 Ety Pointe Drive, Lancaster. Follow-up inspection. Observed utensils hung to dry in the ware washing area with visible dirt and grease on the utensils. There was also dirt and grease on the utensil rack.

Texas Roadhouse, 2890 Columbus Lancaster Road NW, Lancaster. Follow-up inspection. Observed bacon that should be either hot held, cold held, or time-stamped with a four-hour time marking at 60 F. Observed one live and two dead bugs that appeared to be cockroaches (live located in a chemical storage closet, dead located in a monitoring trap near the bar area and by bar dishwasher).
