The annual memorial ceremony gives the community and families the chance to honor San Diego County officers across all agencies that gave their lives in the line of duty, along with an opportunity to support local law enforcement still serving the community.

90 men and women have lost their lives serving in San Diego County since 1864.

The memorial starts at noon at the Wall of Light, with music, a recognition of survivors and a reading of all 90 names on the wall. A survivor will be speaking on what the loss of their loved one and the ceremony means to them.

Northbound Harbor Drive at the intersection with Pacific Highway in downtown San Diego will be blocked off for parking for the event Wednesday afternoon. Those wanting to attend can arrive at the blockade to be let in.
