PSP Operation: Driver arrested for DUI with child in car
HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — State police’s “Operation Trigger Lock” resulted in multiple arrests, drugs, and guns seized in Luzerne County.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, joint enforcement with Hazleton Police was done due to recent violent activity within the Hazleton City limits.
Man accused of stealing large amount of alcohol during retail theft
PSP states the following are the results of “Operation Trigger Lock”;
Seized Narcotics: 6 grams of fentanyl, 5 grams of crack cocaine, 3 grams of wax marijuana, 1/5 ounces of marijuana, and a small amount of methamphetamine.
DUI Arrests: 10
Act 64 Arrests: six
Traffic Citations: 115
Traffic Warnings: 64
Firearms Seized: Two illegally possessed
Arrest Warrants Served: Four
Other Criminal Arrests: DUI for having a 6-year-old in the vehicle.
Significant Incidents: One pursuit ending in with DUI charges against the driver
State police noted troopers pulled over a total number of 209 cars during a 12-hour period.
