PSP investigates Montour County burglary

DERRY TOWNSHIP, MONTOUR COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) said troopers are investigating a burglary that took place in Montour County on Monday.

PSP says on Monday, January 29, around 11:30 p.m. a suspect entered the Derry Beverage through the backdoor and stole an unknown amount of cash.

Troopers say the burglar then left through the same door and started walking toward Washingtonville.

According to PSP, the burglar is around 5’09” in height, weighing around 160 pounds, and wearing a camouflage sweatshirt or coat with black gloves.

State police are asking Washingtonville residents to check their home surveillance systems between the hours of 11:00 p.m. on Monday through 12:15 a.m. Tuesday morning for images of the burglar.
