After downing stuffed chicken at the glitzy Night of 100 Stars Oscar viewing party at the Beverly Hills Hotel, former Oscar winner Jon Voight stood up from his seat, looked toward the screens set up around the room and proudly watched his daughter Angelina Jolie co-present the Oscar trophy for best director.

"Angie did a splendid job. She's such a ray of light," he said afterward.

This was Voight's second time attending the party.

He won his best actor Oscar in 1979 for "Coming Home."

His daughter won her best supporting actress Oscar in 2000 for "Girl, Interrupted."
