Prosecutors: Man killed by nephew of estranged wife, who's also dead

A Pikesville man's killing appears to have stemmed from a contentious divorce involving the victim and the suspect's aunt, investigators said Tuesday. Early Monday morning, authorities arrested Keon Wilson-Hawkins, 20, of Baltimore, in connection with the killing of Brice Wendell Boots, 65, who was found dead on Jan. 10 in a vehicle left in a field on Crum Road in Walkersville. In January, 11 News learned Boots was supposed to appear in Catonsville district court for a domestic violence case and a final protective order, but he never showed up. Prosecutors said Boots had expressed fear for his safety from his estranged wife, identified as Frances Virginia Hamilton, on prior occasions.
