Property damaged in Beaver County child care facility parking lot, owner asking for help

The owner of a child care facility in Beaver County is asking for help after property was damaged on the outside of her business for the fourth time this year.

Joanne Fenchak, owner of Joanne’s Child Care in Conway Borough, said a vehicle appears to have driven off the road and onto the property of the business on Christmas Eve between 11:00 p.m. and 2:30 a.m.

Tire tracks can still be seen in the snow and a light post lies destroyed outside the business.

Fenchak said a similar incident occurred just a few weeks back. She said the driver’s wheel came off after hitting the curb hard. She also mentioned another instance that she said was DUI-related.

She said parents are often shuttling their kids back and forth to their cars in the front parking lot, so the excessive accidents are an obvious danger to children.

Fenchak works with the police for most of these instances, but she needs help gathering information on the one that occurred on Christmas Eve. The vehicle she is looking for is believed to be a truck and appears to be dual-wheeled.

Anyone with information or camera footage of the vehicle that caused the accident is asked to contact Conway Police.
