Their big debut!

"Property Brothers" star Jonathan Scott and actress Zooey Deschanel's "still new" relationship was revealed earlier in September, and they closed out the month by making their first public appearance together during the third live taping of "Dancing With the Stars" season 28 on Monday, September 30.

The couple made it a double-date, sitting near his brother and co-star Drew Scott and his wife, Linda Phan.

Sources inside the "DWTS" ballroom told Us Weekly that, at one point during the taping, "Jonathan moved his chair closer to Zooey and put his arm around her as he whispered closely in her ear. They appeared very comfortable together and looked sweet."

They also reportedly weren't shy about showing off their romance, packing on the PDA as they left the studio.

"Jonathan noticed something in Zooey’s hair and reached to get it out," the onlooker added. "He had his arm around her and was holding her close. Zooey had her arm around his waist. Jonathan appeared protective over her and they looked very cozy."

Deschanel and Scott met while filming Apple TV's "Carpool Karaoke" series back in August, based on James Corden's viral smash. One month later, the "500 Days of Summer" actress and her husband, Jacob Pechenik, announced that they were getting divorced after four years of marriage.

"After much discussion and a long period of contemplation we have decided we are better off as friends, business partners and co-parents rather than life partners," their joint statement read. "We remain committed to our business, our values, and most of all, our children. Thank you for respecting our privacy at this time."

The "New Girl" actress and HGTV star's relationship was revealed on September 14, when they were photographed holding hands in Silver Lake, California.

"It’s definitely special for me because I am the guy who raises the bar in what I’m looking for in a partner," Jonathan told Us Weekly of his new romance. "I was caught a little off guard. It was definitely a pleasant surprise."

"[They’re] both amazing people, and I think it’s great," his brother added. "It’s exciting. And it means I get to get Jon out here to spend more time with us in L.A."

Deschanel shares daughter, Elise, 4, and son, Charlie, 2, with Pechenik. She was previously married to Death Cab for Cutie singer Ben Gibbard from 2009 through 2012, while Scott was married to Kelsy Ully from 2007 until 2013. He split from his subsequent longtime girlfriend, Jacinta Kuznetsov, in 2018.
