Procter & Gamble forms partnership with data analytics form Verix Business Intelligence
CINCINNATI (AP) -- Consumer goods maker Procter & Gamble said Monday that it has formed a strategic partnership with Verix Business Intelligence, a data analytics company.
Financial terms were not disclosed. P&G said the deal will help it strengthen its business intelligence capabilities.
Verix uses an analytical pattern-recognition engine that analyzes large amounts of business data and sends out alerts for relevant data.
Verix CEO Doron Aspitz said it is "impressive" how quickly P&G has begun to use the Verix platform.
P&G shares rose 6 cents to close at $75.81.
