Probe continues into shooting of 18-year-old in Urbana

May 19—URBANA — Police continue to investigate a Friday night shooting that left an 18-year-old hospitalized.

Dispatched to the 2000 block of Vawter Street in the southeast part of town at 10:30 p.m., police found the man who had been shot. He was taken to the hospital and remains in stable condition.

Urbana police said anyone who has information should call 217-384-2320. Arrangements can be made for information to be shared privately.
