Princess Kate Recycles Memorable Alexander McQueen Dress for Her First Garden Party of the Season
Princess Kate and Prince William followed their Monday visit to the celebrated Chelsea Flower Show with a tea party alongside Queen Elizabeth on Tuesday.
Kate wore the same stunning cream Alexander McQueen that she wore for Prince George's christening in 2013, while William looked dashing in tails and a top hat – the typical attire for senior members of the royal family.

The Queen was all smiles in a bright blue Stewart Parvin ensemble, which she topped off with a hat by Rachel Trevor-Morgan.
The event marked William's first garden party on the palace lawns. Kate has been to several – her first was in May 2012.

The Tuesday garden party is the third society party that the Queen has hosted on the back lawns of Buckingham Palace this season. During each event, around 8,000 people who have made their mark in public life, enjoy cake and sandwiches with the Queen.

Garden parties are an important part of the London social season, which kicked off in earnest at the Chelsea Flower Show Monday, which Will and Kate also attended, taking in the amazing red carpet of poppies, as well as a new Chrysanthemum – called Rossano Charlotte – which was created for Kate's charity East Anglia's Children's Hospices.
