Princess Gabriella befriends baby during nursery visit with twin brother Prince Jacques

Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella of Monaco stole the show as they joined their parents Prince Albert, 59, and Princess Charlene, 39, at an engagement earlier this week. The two-year-old twins visited the micro-nursery "A Farandola" on Tuesday, November 14, with their mom and dad.

The duo looked adorable, wearing puffer jackets, as they made their way to rooms at the nursery with their parents. During the visit, Gabriella befriended a baby while Princess Charlene sweetly looked on. The young Princess looked particularly excited to meet the infant in its bouncer. The new micro-nursery that the royal family visited is managed by the early childhood section of the social service of the Monaco City Council.

The outing was the twins' public debut of their fresh haircuts. On Monday, November 13, Princess Charlene took to her personal Instagram account to share multiple photos of her children’s new milestone — their first haircut. The sweet pictures that showed the siblings embracing each other with a hug were simply captioned: “Our First Haircut.”

Earlier this year, Prince Albert chatted with Graham Bensinger about how he and his wife create a sense of normalcy for their kids. “It comes in different ways and different forms. First of all you have to try and spend as much time as you can with them and to play with them and to make them feel comfortable around their surroundings,” he shared.

Grace Kelly’s son added, “It’s hard to do in this palace where there are a lot of people walking around. We’re very lucky to have another property that is up the mountain, not too far from Monaco but far away enough to be in a wonderful natural surrounding with a farm, with different areas where they can play and where they can learn about nature, and where they can see animals and have a great environment in which to grow up in.”
