Prince ‘Told He Had Aids Weeks Before His Death And Prepared For The End With Prayer’

Music pioneer Prince was diagnosed with Aids six weeks before his death and prepared for death by praying, it’s been claimed.

Sources told a US magazine the star learned he had the full-blown version of the HIV disease only weeks earlier and he was preparing to die.

The Purple Rain singer, 57, was found dead in a lift at his home in Minneapolis last Thursday.

The frail star, who raised awareness of Aids in a 1998 campaign and enjoyed numerous sex sessions throughout his life, suffered a series of health problems.

He was given a life-saving injection on his private plane days before his death and was spotted heading into a chemist several times a week for drugs.

Staff at the Walgreens Pharmacy said the pills he had been buying were used to treat HIV patients.

The deadly infection, normally transferred through sex or sharing needles, breaks down a victim’s immune system.

Women claimed he had sex dungeons built in his home and he asked lovers to call him the “Messiah” during all-night orgies.

The source told the National Enquirer, who announced the claims via the above tweet, Jehovah’s Witness was preparing for his death and asking people to pray for him as the Aids took over.

They added: “Doctors told Prince his blood count was unusually low and that his body temperature had dropped dangerously below the normal 98.6 degrees to 94 degrees. He was totally iron-deficient, very weak and often disoriented. He rarely ate and when he did, it all came right back up.”

There was mixed reaction from fans on Twitter.

Police are still probing the possibility associates may have given the star, full name Prince Rogers Nelson, a fatal cocktail of drugs.

They said it could be weeks before the results of last Friday’s autopsy is announced.
