Prince Harry and Meghan Markle take a left-hand drive Jaguar to their reception
Don’t be alarmed when you see Prince Harry getting into the left-hand side of a Jaguar to his reception – it’s perfectly acceptable, although not the norm in the U.K.
Definitely passed the test. But, did everyone not notice what side he was driving on? It was Jaguar, and English car, made for American roads, being driven in England!! I mean it’s the Royal Family, didn’t they have enough resources to find one that drives from the proper side? https://t.co/yYGDsb8cDF

Wait – left hand drive? On a classic Jaguar, in England. Is that even legal? #Jaguar #RoyalWedding

The E-Type was originally manufactured in 1968, but has been converted to electric power. The license plate on the car is a nod to their wedding date, reading “E190518.”

Unlike most cars in the U.K., this car left-hand drives, but the Duke does still have to follow U.K. rules and drive on the left side of the road.
Luckily, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle won’t have to worry about overtaking any cars or watching out for oncoming traffic – but the new Duchess of Sussex will have to get used to right-hand drive cars herself in the future.
