Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will delay their honeymoon to go straight back to work in the week after their wedding, scheduling their first public engagement as a married couple just days later.

On their wedding night the couple will be guests of the Queen at Windsor Castle, along with members of their extended family, returning there after a glamorous private party at Frogmore House.

The newlyweds will be granted a new title by the Queen, to be announced after the wedding and likely to be a dukedom, before they return to Kensington Palace to begin their married life.

However, there are currently no plans for Prince Harry and Ms Markle to copy the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge in immediately moving out of London following their wedding.

The Prince and Ms Markle, who will by then have their new titles, will be back in the public eye on the week beginning May 21st, at an as-yet-unconfirmed engagement.

The day out is likely to set the tone for their work as a married couple, and will be focused on charities and causes close to their hearts.

They will go on honeymoon privately later this year, before a “busy” autumn including a trip to Sydney for the Invictus Games.
