Prince Had ‘Uncontrollable Cocaine Addiction Since 2010’ Claims Woman In 911 Call

Prince’s drug habits were spiralling out of control up to six years before his death, a newly released 911 call claims.

An unidentified woman told police she was worried about the singer – who died last month aged 57 at his Paisley Park mansion – after he allegedly told her about his use of the drug.

She claimed the Purple Rain singer, below, had opened up about his addiction to the Class-A drug when they met in Germany.

A year later, in 2011, she made contact with police in his hometow Chanhassen, Minnesota.

It is the first official record of any relation between Prince and drugs, though there have been weeks of reports he was hooked on opiates similar to those that killed Michael Jackson.

He’s said to have used the painkillers to dull hip pain he suffered after decades of jumping on stage in boots with stacked heels.

Phone logs released by Carver County Sheriff’s office today as part of an ongoing inquiry into the death of Prince, below in his Purple Rain pomp, death reveal the anonymous woman told the operator he had said he “cannot control his habit and she was advised to report it”.

The records show the police called the woman back and advised her it was old information.

No further action was taken because “she did not specify Prince was immediate danger”.

According to the call log police received 46 calls regarding Prince’s home since 2011.

These included a call in 2013 from a female who “stated another woman had been raped at Paisley Park”.

A woman also called just hours after his death claiming she had a 17-year-old son with the singer and she wanted him to attend the funeral.

Other calls included ones regarding trespassing and traffic related enquires.

The phone records have been released as a woman reportedly claiming to be Prince’s half-sister has filed legal documents asking for a share of his estate.

Darcell Johnston, who TMZ reports has alleged she has the same mother as Prince but a different father, wants a cut of his multi-million dollar fortune after he died last month without making a will.

Prince’s sister Tyka Nelson, above being ushered out of a hearing about his legacy, is at the centre of a battle with his other siblings over his £200million legacy and property empire.
