Prince George’s County police investigating shooting that killed DC man

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) was investigating a shooting that left a 19-year-old from D.C. dead.

On Wednesday, at around 6:40 a.m., officers from the Maryland-National Capital Park Police and PGPD responded to a park, located in the 11900 block of Autumnwood Lane. There, they found a man who had been shot and was unconscious.

He died there. He was identified as David Frye of Washington, D.C.

Police: Reported threat that locked down Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School ‘unfounded’

PGPD said it was working to find who was responsible along with a motive for the shooting.
