Prince George’s County police identify suspect in fatal District Heights shooting

PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police identified one of the suspects involved in a shooting in District Heights on Sunday that left one person dead.

The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said that it issued an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Raheem Hawkins-Boseman of Silver Spring. Police are charging him with first-degree murder in relation to a shooting that left 27-year-old Jessica Somerville of Suitland dead.

PGPD officers first responded to the 5800 block of Silver Hill Road around 2:15 a.m. on March 17. Officers found Somerville outside with a gunshot wound. She died there.

Anyone with any information on where Hawkins-Boseman is asked to call 301-516-2512. PGPD is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for any information that leads to an arrest and indictment.
