Prince George is growing up before our eyes!

The 4-year-old prince will attend his first day of school at Thomas's Battersea in London on September 7, the Kensington Palace confirmed on Tuesday.

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, accompanying Prince George, will be met on arrival at the school by the Head of Lower School, Helen Haslem, who will then escort Their Royal Highnesses to Prince George's reception classroom," the statement read.

The prestigious school costs around $23,000 a year, and is about four miles south of Kensington Palace.

According to the Good Schools Guide, the school is a "big, busy, slightly chaotic school for cosmopolitan parents who want their children to have the best English education money can buy."

Last year, William and Kate shared adorable photos of George's first day of nursery school at Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk. The backpack-toting cutie looked absolutely adorable!

Prince William and Duchess Kate relocated their family to London this past summer as William has ended his part-time job as an air ambulance pilot and will dedicate his time to royal duties and philanthropic work.

The royal family spent part of their summer on a royal tour of Poland and Germany. Though Duchess Kate made headlines with her fashion -- including this daring dress -- it was her two kids who stole the show.

Princess Charlotte, 2, adorably took a tumble before boarding a helicopter, while her brother George caused a few chuckles with his grumpy face.
