Prichard murder suspect surrenders

PRICHARD, Ala. (WKRG) — A man Prichard Police previously named as a suspect in a murder has turned himself in, according to the Mobile County jail log.

According to the jail log, 33-year-old Nicholas Elias Mixon turned himself in Monday morning.

Mixon is accused of being involved in an April 2 homicide that took the life of 24-year-old Dontavious Williams.

Williams was shot multiple times on the 700 block of Reynolds Avenue.

Kendarius Deonte Welch was arrested on April 19 in connection with the homicide.
