Prichard man arrested after leading police on chase in stolen car: MPD

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — A Prichard man was arrested after he led police on a chase in a stolen car before crashing, according to the Mobile Police Department.

An MPD release said officers were in the area of Snow Road at around 2 a.m. on Friday when they found a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of the Saraland Police Department’s jurisdiction.

Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over but the driver allegedly refused to stop.

When the driver, later identified as 20-year-old Joseph Kealee Graham of Prichard, approached the Snow Road and Airport Boulevard intersection, he attempted to make a left turn and wrecked, according to the release.

The release said Graham then ran from the car but officers were able to arrest him a short time later.

He is charged with receiving stolen property and attempting to elude, according to the release.
