UPDATE: Priceville and Trinity Christmas parades postponed until Dec. 9

Dec. 1—Due to the high probability of rain, the Priceville and Trinity Christmas parades have been postponed to Dec. 9. Both had been scheduled for Saturday.

Priceville's Sheila Smith Christmas Parade and Christmas in the Park will now take place Dec. 9 at 2 p.m. according to Priceville Parks & Recreation. It had been scheduled for Saturday.

The Trinity Christmas Parade will take place Dec. 9 at 10 a.m., a parade organizer said.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville said the Decatur area should experience a slight chance of thunderstorms after midnight with more rain forecast to continue all day Saturday.
