Pretty in pink and traditional white: Germany unveil Euro 2024 kits
Germany will play its Euro 2024 matches in traditional white but also in an eye-catching pink and purple kit, with both unveiled on Thursday by sports goods makers Adidas.
The home kit for the June 14-July 14 home tournament is all white but includes black stripes on the side and the national flag colours of black, red and gold in the shoulder area to resemble eagle feathers.
The away kit is a pink and purple shirt, and purple shorts and socks.
"While the typical white home jersey picks up on the German football DNA in a modern way, the away jersey with its pink and purple colours makes for an unexpectedly fresh appearance," Adidas said.
Attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz named the away shirt "very cool" and "something different and really extraordinary."
Germany will first sport the new kits at friendlies on March 23 in France and three days later against the Netherlands.
