President Trump Just Announced a Ban on Transgender Military Service
In a Wednesday morning mini-tweetstorm, President Trump announced he will ban "transgender individuals" from serving in the military, citing the "burden" of "tremendous medical costs" and "disruption."

It is not clear yet what kind of authority the president has to issue this type of ban, or the timeline on which it would be implemented.
