On Nov. 2, Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric spoke with Kristen Clarke, the president and executive director of the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, about the firebombed Mississippi church that was vandalized with “Vote Trump” graffiti Tuesday evening. Clarke told Couric, “We want a democracy at the end of the day where people can freely worship and most importantly where they can freely participate in our political process and exercise the right to vote free from intimidation or harassment.”
