President Barack Obama Arrives in L.A. for ‘Jimmy Kimmel,’ Hillary Clinton Fundraisers

President Barack Obama arrived in Los Angeles on Monday for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” as well as a $100,000-per-person Hillary Victory Fund fundraiser at the home of Jeffrey and Marilyn Katzenberg.

Obama arrived at about 1:30 p.m. and was met by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles County Supervisor Mark Ridley-Thomas, according to a pool report.

On this trip, Obama also will attend a fundraiser for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee on Tuesday at the home of Ryan Murphy and David Miller. Tickets for that event cost $33,400 per person.

This will be Obama’s second appearance on Kimmel, having first guested on the show last year.

The event at the Katzenbergs’ Beverly Hills home will be co-hosted by Crystal and Chris Sacca, and Jennifer Perry and Andy Spahn. It’s event, billed as a private roundtable, will raise dough for the Hillary Victory Fund, with money split between Hillary Clinton’s campaign, the Democratic National Committee, and state party committees.

This is Obama’s 26th visit to the region since becoming president, according to City News Service.
