Preliminary hearing rescheduled for RN accused of taking Oxycodone

May 6—LEWISBURG — The preliminary hearing for a registered nurse accused of illegally dispensing Oxycodone for herself was rescheduled to later this month.

Stefanie Ann Kreamer, 40, of East Pine Street, Selinsgrove, will appear for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. May 23 in front of Lewisburg District Judge Jeffrey Rowe. The hearing had been scheduled for May 2.

While a nurse at Evangelical Community Hospital in Lewisburg, Kreamer allegedly lied about her patients' pain levels to dispense Oxycodone for herself, according to the state attorney general's office.

Kreamer was charged with a felony count of acquisition of a controlled substance by misrepresentation; and two misdemeanor counts of intentional possession of a controlled substance by a person not registered and furnishing of false or fraudulent material information. The charges were filed by Agent Mark Mitchell, of the state Office of Attorney General.
