Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s royal tour has got off to an incredible start, with the announcement that the couple are expecting their first child in Spring 2019.

The Duke and Duchess will begin their 16-day tour of Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tonga on 16 October and their schedule is packed.

Meghan, who is believed to be around 12 weeks pregnant, will undertake a whopping 76 engagements during the overseas visit.

Highlights include meeting koalas at Taronga Zoo, talking to a local surfing community at Bondi Beach and attending the Invictus Games Sydney.

While the couple are likely to have some down-time after they return to London on October 31, the Royal Family’s autumn/winter diary is packed with events and duties.

In the week of Remembrance, the Queen and members of the Royal Family attend a series of engagements to commemorate and honour the men and women, who have sacrificed themselves in Service to our country.

This includes the annual Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall on 10 November and Remembrance Day at the Cenotaph memorial on 11 November.

Harry’s father Charles turns 70 on November 14 and there are many festivities planned around that, including a private party, hosted by the Queen.

The annual Royal Variety Performance on 19 November, although it has not been confirmed which members of the Royal Family will be attending.

Christmas is traditionally spent in Sandringham, Norfolk and although it’s usually only married couples which attend the annual church service, Meghan was invited last year.
