Now well into her second trimester, the Duchess of Cambridge showed a hint of a baby bump today in London as she attended her first Christmas party of 2017.

The royal arrived at the Rugby Portobello Trust in North Kensington wearing a burgundy tweed coat by maternity wear label Seraphine.

Kate previously wore the ribbon-trimmed piece back in New York in 2014 while pregnant with Princess Charlotte. The £295 coat can still be yours as it hasn’t sold out just yet.

Today, the Duchess chose to pair the coat with black tights, black suede Tod’s heels and a matching Mulberry clutch (which she’s often pictured with) to top off the winter-ready look.

Kate will be joining mums and children for the Magic Mums Christmas party held to celebrate the work of the charity in supporting its local community.

The 35-year-old, who is due to give birth to her third child in April, will learn about the organisation’s support services and the work they have done to help survivors of the Grenfell Tower fire. She will also meet young people taking part in a music workshop.

Earlier today, Kate and Prince William followed in the Queen’s footsteps by being awarded a Gold Blue Peter badge. They attended the Blue Peter studios in Salford to receive their prize which was given to mark their achievements around the topic of mental health.

“We’ve still got a long way to go yet but we are getting there. A shift is happening and we will hopefully crack a problem that should have been cracked a long time ago,” commented Prince William.

“It’s hugely special. Mental health has been a learning process for us too … We want to get everyone talking about it so it hasn’t got that stigma it’s had,” the Duchess added.
