Predators fans make out heavily, shock reporter on live TV (Video)

NASHVILLE – If there’s one thing we’ve learned during the Stanley Cup Final, it’s that Nashville Predators fans have a lot of love to give when it comes to their team.

If there’s another thing we’ve learned in the Stanley Cup Final, it’s that this love can sometimes manifest itself as a marathon make-out session during a live postgame report on the local news, as was the case after Game 4 on Monday night.

Here’s Chris Harris of WSMV-TV in Nashville, capturing the scene after the Predators’ victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins and delightfully oblivious to the face-sucking happening in back of him until the hilarious reveal.

It begins around six seconds into the video, where one of the fans turns to the other and gives a little “let’s go” before they start kissing.

(You’ll notice that the bracelet on her arm inexplicably starts flashing as they kiss. Maybe it’s like E.T.’s tummy and uses illumination to express her mood.)

And then they keep smooching through the entire reel of Predators players talking about the win!

“Excuse me, but is that a catfish in your pants or…”

You can hear the studio start chuckling about it, and then Harris finally notices the make out session. “People are fired up! Do you see what’s happening here? We might have conception going on! This is how it is in Smashville.”

Smashville probably happened later, to be honest.

Clearly, there’s a lot of passion for hockey in Nashville. Also, clearly, P.K. Subban has been sharing his Listerine.
