Power restored to 900 residents in West El Paso

UPDATE: Power was restored on Friday morning, April 19, according to El Paso Electric’s Outage Map.

An El Paso Electric spokesperson said the cause of the outage was a burnt wire in one of their substations.

ORIGINAL: EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — More than 900 customers have been without power for more than 10 hours in West El Paso, according to El Paso Electric’s Outage Map.

El Paso Electric’s Outage Map is reporting that the power went out at around 11 p.m. on Thursday night, April 18, and the estimated time of restoration is at 10 a.m. on Friday morning, April 19.
