(COLORADO SPRINGS) — As of 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19 power appears to have been restored.

Colorado Springs Utilities (Springs Utilities) said it is aware of an outage in eastern Colorado Springs that is impacting around 7,000 people in the early morning of Tuesday, March 19.

According to the Springs Utilities outage map, the power outage happened around 7 a.m. on Tuesday. Springs Utilities said the outage is expected to be fixed around 11:30 a.m.

The outage is impacting an area south of Palmer Park Boulevard, and east of North Academy Boulevard.
