Power off at Towne West Square again

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Power at Wichita’s Towne West Square is out again.

Evergy says Kohan Retail Investment Group again fell delinquent on the electricity bill for the mall, and the electric service was disconnected Tuesday morning.

The larger stores, JCPenney, Dick’s, and Dillards Clearance Center, all have separate accounts that remain in good standing and are not subject to disconnection, Evergy says.

Power has been disconnected numerous times in the past. Water service has also been impacted in the past month.

Some businesses have moved out because of the interruptions.
