Power failure leads to closure of New Orleans’ Municipal and Traffic Court
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A power failure at the Municipal and Traffic Court of New Orleans led to the building’s closure on Wednesday, April 24.
The closure went into effect at 8 a.m.
Four new commissioners appointed to New Orleans Regional Transit Authority board
Court officials announced that the court will remain closed until further notice due to the ongoing power outage.
No failure to appear or attachments will be issued, and any scheduled court dates will be reset and served by mail.
