Potter Park Zoo introduces…

LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — Potter Park Zoo has unveiled the names of three American River otter pups born Feb. 9.

And without further ado, the trio are:

Copper, Petoskey, and Isabella.

The zoo ran a contest to name the pups, which doubled as a fundraiser. For each vote, the zoo asked for a minimum $5 donation.

The zoo’s Facebook page shows hours before Sunday’s deadline, 115 votes were cast for the Copper, Petoskey, and Isabella names, while 35 votes were cast for Marlin, Irwin, and Jane; and 12 votes were cast for Stanley, Carson, and Ivy.
