Post Malone is the latest celebrity on a massive weight loss kick.
The multiplatinum-selling rapper took to social media this week to unveil his new svelte frame ― which also came with a new moniker.
“Introducing Viceroy Chungus VonBattlepass, I love you 🍻💕,” he wrote in an caption of a full-body mirror selfie while dressed in all black donning a baseball cap, leather jacket and a statement belt buckle.
During an interview last month on “The Joe Rogan Experience” podcast, the “Rockstar” rapper revealed he dropped 55 pounds, going from 240 to 185. He attributed the weight loss to making healthier choices and being back on stage.
In April, Malone clarified to concerned fans that his slimdown wasn’t due to any drug use, but instead ditching sugar drinks, eating better and settling into “dad life.”
“I wanted to say that I’m not doing drugs. I’ve had a lot of people ask me about my weight loss and I’d suppose, performance on stage. I’m having a lot of fun performing, and have never felt healthier,” he said.
“I decided to kick soda, and start eating better so I can be around for a long time for this little angel,” he added, referring to his baby girl who was born in May 2022.
Post Malone also shared that giving up cigarettes and beer are part of his health plans, but that he may need to be “patient.”
