Music From the Sole

Bad Bunny to Blake Shelton: Portland concert lineup for March 2024
Music From the Sole showcases the “Afro-diasporic roots” of tap dancing by fusing concert dance with music performance. The group will make its West Coast debut at its Portland shows.
Portland Seafood & Wine Festival
When: Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3
Where: Portland Expo Center, 2060 Marine Dr W, Portland, OR 97217
More than 40 Oregon wineries will join seafood businesses in offering samples of the best wine, spirits, Dungeness crab and more that the state has to offer. For the 18th annual festival, “Deadliest Catch” star Keith Colburn will hold cooking sessions as well.
Portland Golf Show
When: Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3
Where: Portland Expo Center, 2060 Marine Dr W, Portland, OR 97217
Nearly 100 exhibitors from the golf industry will put their best golf clubs, courses and destination resorts on display at this event. The Portland Golf Show will also feature a new equipment testing zone and free 10-minute lessons, among other activities.
Jim Gaffigan – Barely Alive Tour

The New York Times recognized Jim Gaffigan as one of 2023’s best comics, and the comedian, actor, and producer will now perform stand-up for Portland audiences. “He is known around the world for his unique brand of humor, which largely revolves around his observations on life,” the Keller Auditorium said.

Monster Jam

The “most action-packed motorsports event on four wheels” kicks off this weekend. Monster Jam highlights experienced monster truck drivers who will go against each other in speed and skill competitions.
Pittock Mansion Behind the Scenes Tour
When: Saturday, March 2 and Sunday, March 3 at various times
Where: Pittock Mansion, 3229 NW Pittock Dr, Portland, OR 97210
Get a behind-the-scenes look at one of Portland’s most iconic properties. Visitors will see parts of Pittock Mansion that aren’t accessible during normal operating hours, and learn more about the building’s history.
Program that rewards customers for dining at Portland restaurants returns
Hina Matsuri, The Doll Festival
When: Sunday, March 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Where: Portland Japanese Garden, 611 SW Kingston Ave, Portland, OR 97205
According to the Portland Japanese Garden, Japan commemorates “Hina Matsuri” — also known as Doll’s Day or Girl’s Day — every March 3 to honor the “happiness, growth, and good health of girls.” PJG’s Jordan Schnitzer Japanese Arts Learning Center will hold this celebration that features doll displays and workshops.
