MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — About 100 feet of McGregor Avenue will close at Airport Boulevard at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 13, according to the City of Mobile.

The closure will go into effect because of underground utility assets installation, city officials said.

Severe weather could delay the start of work and its progress.

“Only the 100-foot section at the intersection of McGregor Ave. and Airport Blvd. will be closed,” the release said. “The road to the north will remain open so motorists can access the commercial businesses in the area. Wimbledon Park will also continue to be accessible via Berwyn Drive South.”

More information on the South McGregor Avenue Project can be found on the City of Mobile website.
