A popular rock band is coming to the MS Coast, and it’s bringing a controversial friend

The popular rock band Five Finger Death Punch announced Friday it will play at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum this fall — with a controversial guest.

The band, alongside rock star Marilyn Manson and heavy metal band Slaughter to Prevail, will perform at 6:30 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi.

The stop on the Mississippi Coast is part of a U.S. tour that runs Aug. 2 to Sept. 19.

The band is releasing a deluxe version of its ninth album, “AFTERLIFE,” on April 5, according to a press release.

The album will include the original 12 tracks and four bonus acoustic versions of songs called “The End,” “Judgement Day,” and “Thanks For Asking.” The album also includes a new song called “This Is The Way,” that features the late rapped DMX, according to the release.

Five Finger Death Punch is a heavy rock band from Las Vegas. They formed in 2005 and have released nine studio albums since 2007. Seven of those albums won Gold or Platinum designation from the Recording Industry Association of America.

Rock artist Marilyn Manson and Russian “deathcore” band Slaughter To Prevail will join the tour.

Controversy surrounded Manson, whose legal name is Brian Warner, after the actress Evan Rachel Wood accused the artist of abuse 2021. Manson denied those allegations but now owes $500,000 in total to lawyers for Wood and another actress after a Los Angeles judge rejected his defamation and emotional distress allegations against the women, Rolling Stone reported.

Ticket pre-sales begin March 11 at 9 a.m. General ticket sales start March 15 at 10 a.m.

Fans can buy tickets on the band’s website.
