Popular Greenville diner named one of three best in state by AAALiving. Here's what to know.
Greenville staple Stax Omega Diner was recently named one of the three best diners in the state by AAALiving.
Hilton Head Diner and Charleston's Early Bird Diner were also mentioned.
Since the 1970s, Stax Omega Diner has been serving up traditional comfort food for the Greenville community, with owner George Koumoustiotis splitting his time between the diner, Stax Bakery and Stax Catering to ensure customers are met with the fresh flavors they have come to expect from the establishment. The diner is also staffed by family members who offer a warm and welcoming atmosphere to those who come on down to eat.
AAALiving notes, "Trish's maple butter pecan and the paradise colada will delight your taste buds." The review also looks beyond the diner's delicious breakfast offerings, praising Koumoustiotis for staying true to his Greek roots with Mediterranean dishes such as chicken souvlaki and gyro platters, as well as the spanakopita and Greek salad, which are both made with imported feta cheese.
Stax Omega Diner is open every day from 7 a.m.-8 p.m. for customer convenience and is located at 72 Orchard Drive in Greenville.
