Popular downtown bar goes up for sale
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — After over two decades of serving cold drinks and good times to San Angelo, the owner of the Chadbourne Tavern is looking to move on — but not before leaving the business in good hands.
In a Facebook post made on March 18, Chadbourne Tavern owner Fernando Fuentez announced that he would be leaving San Angelo’s nightlife scene. He also stated that he would turn his focus on Lily’s Pizza, his pizzeria located near Angelo State University known for its “Nanjo’s” food item.
“After 23 fun and eventful years in the bar and nightlife industry, my family and I have decided to focus my passion into the restaurant! Taking the Nanjo’s to the next level!” Fuentez said.
He’s not aiming to just vacate the building, however. Fuentez is currently looking for a buyer willing to take on the business for themselves.
