Popular clothing retailer opening first Sacramento location at Arden Fair Mall

(FOX40.COM) — A popular clothing company is coming to the Arden Fair Mall.

Fashion retailer H&M is planning to open its first store in Sacramento sometime in late 2024, Arden Fair marketing director Nathan Spardlin told FOX40.com.

It would be the third location in the Sacramento region, with its other stores in Folsom and Roseville.

The store will occupy the former spaces of Lane Bryant, New York & Co. and Loft, spanning 18,196 feet.

“We are thrilled to welcome H&M to Arden Fair,” Spardlin wrote in an email. “This exciting addition reflects our commitment to provide shoppers with an unparalleled retail experience, showcasing the latest trends and styles from around the world.”

Based in Sweden, H&M is a clothing company that specializes in “affordable and versatile” designs for women, men and children along with offering home décor and beauty products.

H&M’s other stores in the Sacramento area are at the Palladio in Folsom and at the Westfield Galleria in Roseville. According to the company’s website, the Roseville location is temporarily closed.

In addition to H&M, some tenants at Arden Fair Mall are getting a few changes this year. S&L Gem Co. is planning to open in the middle of the year in the former Orogold location. HYPEBOYZ Tri-Tip recently opened in January.

Wetzel’s Pretzels is relocating to a larger space next to Jamba Juice and is set to open by April, Spardlin said. Sbarro is undergoing a remodel and is scheduled to open later this year.

Apparel store Sports Fever relocated to a larger space next to Express in February.

Arden Fair Mall has over 150 retailers and eateries.
