Ponca City Fire Marshal arrested after protective order violation

PONCA CITY, Okla. (KFOR) – The Ponca City Fire Marshal has been arrested on a protective order violation, according to the Kay County News.

Dereck Casady is accused of coming to the victims work in claiming to have received and anonymous call the business was violating fire code. Cassady was booked on complaints of stalking in protective order violations. Cassady has since posted bond.

The City of Ponca has not determined if he will face any disciplinary action at this time.
