Polls are open for the 2024 primary elections

Mar. 5—Polls in Alabama opened at 7 a.m. and will remain open until 7 p.m. as voters cast votes in the 2024 primary elections.

Super Tuesday elections are being held in 16 states and one territory today. Hundreds of delegates are at stake, the biggest haul for either party on any single day.

In Alabama, voters are required to present a valid form of photo ID before voting.

The voting location for some Morgan County precincts has changed since the last election.

In Decatur, the voting location for Precinct 4-1 has been changed from Decatur Fire & Rescue Station 8 to the Burningtree Country Club, 2521 Burningtree Drive S.E.

The voting location for Precinct 4-3 has been changed from T.C. Almon to Point Mallard Event Location, 2901-D Point Mallard Circle S.E.

In Priceville, the voting location for Precinct 5-1 has been changed from Priceville City Hall to the Priceville Event Location, 250 Marco Drive.

Voters who previously voted at the Florette Volunteer Fire Department will now vote at Grace Point Baptist Church, 190 Eva Road.

In addition to the U.S. presidential race and various statewide races, Tuesday's primary includes several local Republican races.
